Journology runs adventure events for teams. This policy covers the Journology mobile app used by event participants.

What we collect

When you join an event, we collect the registration details you or your organizer provide — your name, email address, and phone number, and optionally a partner’s name and phone number. The access code you enter signs you in and loads your event. As you take part, we record your progress through the event (which stops and clues you have reached). If a clue asks you to submit a photo, audio, or video, that media is stored so the event producer can see your response. If a clue asks for a written answer, that text is stored too. You can also send messages to the event producer or your team’s venue chat — including when you tap “I need help” — and those messages are stored as part of your event record. If you allow notifications, we store a device push token so the producer can send you event updates.

What we don’t do

We do not sell your data, show advertising, or use trackers. We share data only with the service providers that run the app (hosting, database, notifications) so your event can function.

Your choices

You can stop participating at any time by logging out or removing the app. Questions about your data? Contact your event organizer.
